Employing people for academies and free schools

Setting up a free school or becoming an academy will of course involve employing staff. Employers have many responsibilities and whether an academy chooses to buy into local authority HR services, use an alternative HR provider, or do it themselves, the liability if they get it wrong will remain with the governing body of the school.
