Acas statement on Select Committee Report on Sexual Harassment

Wednesday 25 July 2018

The House of Commons Women & Equalities Select Committee has published a new report on sexual harassment in the workplace. Our statement is included below.

Acas Head of Diversity Julie Dennis said:

"Sexual harassment has no place in the workplace and organisations should take any complaint of this nature very seriously.

"Acas regularly updates its advice to take into account any new changes in the law. We launched some new advice in November 2017 to help people identify sexual harassment at work with tips on how to handle and report it. We are currently refreshing this guidance and will carefully consider the recommendations from this report."

Acas runs training courses on sexual harassment across the UK.
